CVBBA BOARD NOMINATIONS 2011
In preparation for the upcoming CVBBA conference in September, additional nominations are being solicited for seats that will be open.
Three seats will be open: Tom McCann, Gregg Solms, and Reed Law.
Gary Gunderson, Bob Watson and Garry Beasley will have one year remaining, and Matt Bradbury, Anne Pagano and Paul Quick have two years remaining on their terms.
The nominating committee has nominated Gregg Solms, Treasurer for an additional 3 year term. In addition, James Munsey and David Cottingham have been nominated and have indicated a willingness to serve.
The by-laws call for open nominations, which may include those whose terms have ended, and have not served more than two consecutive terms.
As you are making your nominations, we suggest that you contact the person you have in mind, to be certain that they are willing to serve. When submitting the nomination, please also include a short bio for the nominee. The bios should be limited to 1-2 paragraphs.
The nominations will cease Thursday August 31, 2010, and nominations, with bios, will be posted on the CVBBA web site. Voting will begin at that time. A call for a final vote will be Monday, September 9, 2010, in accordance with the by-laws (Section 4 paragraph D). The top three candidates will fill the three – three-year positions.
The results will be posted on the CVBBA web-site two days prior to the conference, slated for September 16th – 18th.
