Dell lands significant security partner

On Tuesday, Dell announced the acquisition of SecureWorks, an 11-year-old, Atlanta, Georgia-based company that focuses on internet security, according to eWeek. The move was recognized as a two-pronged move by Dell as it seeks to increase its security networks for cloud computing while remaining in strong competition with Hewlett-Packard and IBM.

Tastykake considering a merger

Long-time retail bakery Tastykake is considering a possible merger after a string of poor financial reporting has left the 93-year-old company on thin ice, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
