Since 1960 this business has designed and manufactured motion sensing products, then antennas and multiplexor products used in the RFID industry. In recent years, the engineer/owner has focused solely on technology and product development. There has been no sales effort or marketing. As a result, sales activity has plummeted. The owner wishes to retire and sell the business. The business includes several high quality, unique and innovative products, all of the FFE and an active patent. The product lines include: RFID Technology: o Ultra miniature antennas, o Very low profile wall mounted antennas, o A line of multiplexor units, and o A patent related to an antenna configuration that allows for improved magnetic field reading of the RFID tag by the reader. Motion Sensing Products: o Pressure sensitive, generally mat type products and o IR sensing and sending units that detect not only presence, but the direction of movement. Assets include manufacturing and test equipment as well as a significant quantity of spare parts. While the engineer/owner wishes to reduce his degree of involvement in the business, he would be interested in associating with the Buyer in a consulting capacity.
